London Ladies football team unhappy with being excluded from LGFA's All-Ireland competition. The London Ladies GAA team are unhappy with the LGFA after a decision to exclude them from this year's All-Ireland championship. The decision came as a result of the ongoing pandemic, and the travel restrictions and quarantine regulations that come along with it. The team that have reached the junior semi-finals for the last four years are urging the organisation to reconsider.
Columbia Sportswear opens its first standalone Irish shop. Columbia Sportswear has opened its first standalone Irish shop on Dublin's Trinity Street, despite the ongoing challenges for retailers. The company is hoping to capitalise on post-pandemic consumerism with many eager to engage in outdoor activities. The store has opened in partnership with Irish-owned Great Outdoors who will run the business.
Tixserve hoping to partner with sports clubs to grow the company. Kildare-based Tixserve is hoping to expand the service into the Irish sporting industry and is currently in talks with stadiums and clubs around the country. The company which provides an interactive digital ticket delivery service already has Twickenham as a client and is looking to add the likes of the FAI and Croke Park. With new procedures in place post-pandemic, the company's digital tickets are more favourable than paper tickets which have been used in the past.
